Who we are

We are men who strive to follow Christ through lives of prayer lived in community as Brothers of St. John of God, and with our co-workers in service to the sick and those in need. Read More »

We, Brothers of Saint John of God, believe that each person is the creation of God with intrinsic value and that our life’s mission is to fulfil our role in achieving God’s mission for all of creation.

The values and fundamental principles that guide our life in Community are found in the Gospels, the teachings of the Church and the example of our Founder.

Hospitality is the original and core value of the Order. In upholding this, we practice our espoused values of Care, Compassion, Respect, Dignity, Trust, Excellence and Justice.

As a consequence, we uphold the sacredness of each person and are committed to ensuring that each person that we serve is safe and free from harm or abuse of any kind.

We uphold and practice our Safeguarding Vulnerable People Policy & Procedures which have been developed in accordance with National Legislation, National Policy and the Catholic Church policy and procedures Safeguarding Children: Standards and Guidance (2009).

We would urge anyone who has a safeguarding concern to come forward and contact the authorities, ourselves or the NBSCCCI – details below.
