New Religious Vocations Promoter Appointed

Sr Cathy Jones has been appointed as the Religious Vocations Promoter within NOV - the National Office for Vocation of the Bishops' Conference in England.   Following a selection process, Sr Cathy Jones has been appointed as the Religious Vocations Promoter within NOV.

Sr Cathy recently made her final profession as a Religious of the Assumption and is currently teaching in a sixth form college. She also leads a Samuel Group in Kensington in partnership with the Carmelite fathers; Samuel Groups enable people to work together on discerning their vocation.

As well as supporting NOV in creating a culture of vocation, she will specialize in helping religious congregations develop their vocations work and in helping diocesan vocations personnel to support those discerning a vocation to religious life.

She takes up this role for three days a week from 1st September.
