Fifty Years Walking in the Footsteps of St. John of God!

This year twenty-seven Brothers celebrate the Golden Jubilee (50th anniversary) of their religious profession.  Part of the jubilee celebration was a pilgrimage  to Granada from the 4^th to the 9^th July, where the jubilarians  literally walked in the footsteps of  St. John of God visiting the many places in Granada connected with his life.

 The group (seen above visiting the St. John of God Museum in Granada) included the present Prior General, Br. Donatus Forkan, and Brothers from many Povinces of the Order throughout the world.

 The pilgrimage concluded with prayer in the room in which our Founder died and a celebration of the Eucharist and renewal of vows at the Camarin where the remains of St. John of God are conserved and honoured.
